edit: and a few missions later, Ban says minutes. wierd...

That's simple : for trading between races they use Sezura, and all that stuff.

But most of the Argons still use minutes, hours between them :roll:

I struggled with this in an X-U fan fic I wrote (see sig). I settled on the same approach: having "sezura" and such as the new "official" system coming into influence. To Teladi it was native, Borons quickly adapted, but humans (being humans) were taking a while to come around. As such they still "thought" in minutes and hours, and among themselves clearly preferred the "old" system. They only used the "new" times when dealing with other races, and even then got confused about how long a stazura actually is, and what the official plural form is ("2 stazuras/2 stazurae"?)

I'm really not sure why Egosoft changed the time this way. It only makes things more difficult on themselves and their devs.

i dotn ahve an x-2 manual. i bout it at walmart and it was just the cd case with art on it. damn walmart skimping out on manuals :evil:

It's just poor editing on the scriptwriter's part. Probably the 'professional' dude they got to do the plot script. :roll:
X-Universe writers aren't known for their consistency. :P :lol:

And since voice actors are expensive, once it's done, it has to be lived with.
