LOL I just got a free Wheat Farm!

I just started a new game in XTREAM and after I got done with the Nyanas Hideout part a little while after Terra corp contacted me and sad I did so good of a jod that the had a surprise for me in Interworlds and it was a free Wheat Farm.On my other game I didn't get anything strange but hay I'm happy.

I have a screen shot of the message but I don't know how to post it.

Thats odd.
I guess it's random or depends on which difficulty setting you choose, on where you get you wheat farm.

She gave me a wheat farm in Ore Belt!

It was in interworlds I think it is in what ever secter you have factories in.

Mine was on normal difficulty and at the time I had zero factories in Nyana's Hideout or anywhere near it.

i was at the time quite annoyed to have one factory that was out in the middle of nowhere compared to where i was currently basing my factories

I think the placement of the wheat farm is totally random and it does not depend on the difficulty level. The first time I played the game, I got the factory in Power Circle. The second time, I got the factory in Montalaar.

heh if it's random, I sure lucked out with the placement of mine
it ended up being in The Wall and literally only 10 Km east of the center of that row of SPPs.

first thing I did was I bought a dolphin. and set the min energy price to 9.
later on I added a Bayamon I captured, and using the teladi auto trader I had it selling energy from my farm as a side business.

I already had a wheat farm and a very badly placed ore mine in Atreus' Clouds. I sure wish I could sell that mine!

I got mine in Red Light. It was so far from any of my other factories I wanted to fly out there and blow it.

you need to do every mision for terracorp so shoot the crappy boron to the HQ in the TP and move the coputer comps to ore belt that shoult trigger it

First time I did this mission the farm ended up in Cloudbase South-West, which was OK. Second time I did it, the farm ended up Cloudbase South-East--not so good, with President's End and Ore Belt as neighbours! I have to set its transporter jump range to 0 to make sure it never leaves the sector.

On the plus side, it's selling everything it can make, so there must be a wheat shortage locally.

Yeah, somebody said in one of the Economy posts that almost everywhere there's a food shortage, ESPECIALLY in Paranid space.

My freebie Wheaty ended up in Home of Light, its a steady earner, but I wasn't planning on building anything there so it kinf of threw a spanner in the works.

One Manta and the FATE scripts took care of it however.
