Cant dock at Earth Torus can anyone help please ive all that is ment to be done and im on the last bit but just cant dock

it is a royal pain in the butt, basically its manual and risk getting targetted by the auto guns, autopilot and you wont get anywhere close.... I ended up downloading the cheat script amd using the "dock at" function

Only within a certain range if i rember properly, i just tryed docking manualy and aslong as you know where your going it isnt too bad, so theres always that option

drive forward, slight incline until your in range to communicate, ask for docking permision then depending on the type of vesal your flying at the time go to the appropraite docking area, im ashuming your going to be a larger ship so i think its docking bay 5, which is pritty much straight from the gate i think, hope this helps

I theory, but I think the "center" of the torus is behind the docking area to such an extent that if you get close enough to use the Docking Computer, you're already targeted by the guns.

I've had a few ships explode while trying to undock OOS, which was a bit irratating when it was a twinked out M8.

Comm the station, Request Docking. Stick to the green dot (dead straight) and slow the ship down when close and you will be docked.

Manual docking is far faster than auto docking in the vast majority of Earth sectors and is very simple to do.

You can use the docking computer to autodock whenever you're withing range of ANY part of the station, not the center that your targeting locks on to. So just fly straight ahead towards the earth torus and hit Ctrl-D once you're close. Very easy.
