You can find them all over the place really.
Usually in factories named "Heavy Weapons Complex".
Check your encyclopedia to see where varius things are sold (will only show the factories you have discovered tho).
The encyclopedia is located at
Personal (the first menu-option) -> Advanced -> Encyclopedia

Ceo's Sprite
Ministry of Finance
Profit Center Alpha
PTNI Headquarters
Seizewell
The Vault
Two Grand

...Though, I've found more in a couple hours plowing through Xenon territory in a Boreas than I found at the factories while trying to equip it...

hmm, I have mapped about 95% of the sectors now (including all sections mentioned above) and my encyclopedia doesnt eaven list FAA's...
Could it be that there are none in my game?

More likely you've just missed them--only the Teladi sell them normally, and it's quite easy to miss Teladi space entirely when exploring.
