[REQ] Camouflage Device and Navigation Override Software for TC
We had these for Reunion - Anyone doing this for TC?
I always hate it when transports go, "Hey look there's a Xenon J, ooh and he's putting on a light show for me, that's nic.....AAAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!"
And it's never the empty transport we just bought oh nooo, it's our fully fitted Mercury Super Transport that we just spent ALL DAY filling with weapons, having just taken a 'sick' day from the office to do this.
How many of you have reloaded your saved game, gone to your transport and shot him to death yourself, all the while chanting, "You dumb f*bleep*g moron", praying that the pilot bails so you can spray him with plasma or put him in the cargo hold so you at least might make some money at the slave market
....ahhh feel better now, thanks for listening. So back to my original question. Anyone porting/dev'ing these for TC?

Had a couple of drinks so this might be a little schetchy
The way I want to use it is once they are "on" u can't be found by conventional methods but a new ware that should provide counterbalance could detect u, this counter ware should be able to fit into medium ships and larger but require energy consumation
the camoflague should drain energy aswell so no idea to run through a sector full of cops and put your ass on the window and go na na na na lol
The reason I dugg up this thread was to give life to the Marine Boarding script idea. Having to come up close to a hostile station, hack it, dock and deply marines.
altough
If there is allready one in game please disregard this noob, I was under the impression since someone mentioned a script for this that it didn't exist in game.

For those who've not used them previously..
Put simply:
1) Cam. Device makes your ship appear as a friendly to your enemies once they get within a certain range, however if there's enough of them it can fail.
2) NOS is something you fit to your valuable ships such as freighters which will then deliberately avoid enemy ships, battles and run to the nearest station if pursued. It was the only reason I bothered with freighters in X3. Before that they were always getting themselves fragged unless they had huge escorts or just me watching them constantly.
