[SCRIPT] Yaki Shipyard v.6

Post by Krewzur » Wed, 17. Dec 08, 20:40

Yaki Shipyard V.6 (hopefully the last)

This script adds a Yaki Shipyard to Weaver's Tempest. It has all Yaki ships available. It also includes a Pirate Base that you can buy and use yourself.

Yaki ship info is available here:
http://eng.x3tc.ru/x3_tc_ships/list.php?class=0&race=10

The shipyard is owned by the Yaki, and jobs can be accepted at the Yaki Pirate Base in Ocracoke's Storm to increase rep. The shipyard is friendly towards the player, just like the Pirate Base but you can't buy anything without rep.

Note: The Pirate Base is incredibly expensive, but i don't know how to fix that without modifying the TDocks file.

v.6
-Fixed bug when you start a new game

v.5
-Added Incendiary Bomb Launcher fab and Plasma Burst Generator fab, suggested by xiriod

v.4
-Removed alterations to Yaki notoriety

v.3
-Installed stations shields

v.2
-Changed Shipyard ownership to Yaki
-Changed Yaki notoriety to -50

v.1
-Added Shipyard owned by "friendly race" to Weaver's Tempest.
-Added Yaki ships and the Pirate Base to the Shipyard.

Enjoy!

Nice one. Ive been meaningi to get over to that area for ever. Pretty sure this will help me make the trek over to that sector to check it out.

I took ownership of a Pirate Station with the cheat scripts and it seems to act like any normal station.

Cool. My experience is limited of course but I haven't seen any problems.

Great mod, thanks. Personally, I would rather see the Yaki race requirement intact. It is possible to raise your rep with Pirates/Yaki if I'm not mistaken, and it seems a little more realistic to me to keep that.

It is possible, but it's much harder to raise rep with the Yaki than it is for the Pirates.

You can't accept jobs from them. They only have 3 sectors, and theres hardly ever any other ships there besides the Yaki's, so you can't raise rep by patrolling their sectors.

The only way to raise rep is by trading with their 4 stations and that'll only raise it very, very slowly.

It thought it would just be better to do this way.

Thank you amurph0 for the wonderful script, now i finely can get myself an Akurei Hauler!

Also in the other hand you can change the "friendly race" to the "Yaki" with the cheat package. So the shipyard will be owned by Yaki.

I changed it to "Friendly Race" on purpose so people don't have to worry about impossible to get rep. (without cheating)

Yes you can, there is a pirate station in Ocracoke's Storm which is owned by Yaki, there are always missions in there.

AND if you want to get in to the Yaki shipyard you always can pay a Hacker (in Ocracoke's Storm pirate base) to "hack" you in there :D I think this would require extra coding.

Also it looks like the Yaki rank set to 0. :x

Great script but would be nice if the Yaki notoriety was not touched by the scrip and the Yaki ship yard is owned by Yaki.

If it's possible to change it could you pls? Or simply have two separate scripts/packages?

I never knew about that pirate base, i haven't gone to those sectors at all yet, i just made this script for other people to use.

I set the rank to 0 zero so your ship won't get attacked when they leave the shipyard, although this only sets some Yaki ships to neutral.

If i let the notoriety the way it was (-10000 or something like that) than it would take much too long too gain rep, so i'll set it to -50 instead. They'll still be enemy but it won't take forever to gain their trust.

I would humbly have to agree with CM here. But I respect it totally if the author does not want to. Great script either way.

Great stuff there amurph0!

Put some shields on the shipyard  it doesn't have any!

Personal note: my original Yaki notoriety is -773, Yaki Ruy are hostile to me and some TMs also Yaki Shuri in core sector is hostile. So.. in this case when my notoriety is -50 i have to go in to the core sector and bash some Yakis so it goes to -700 again, that way it's all fair and square :D

i just realized that the script will set Yaki rep to -50 every time it spawns a shipyard, i'll remove this right away!!

amurph0 it would be soo nice if your script adds the shipyard ONLY under the Yaki, but the Yaki notoriety is not touched.

I wasted three Paranid M8's, a couple of M3+ and some rubble in Yaki territory and I went from -3200 to -800. I am nearly there :) I could have been there, but I had to capture the Oddy as I could not get myself to destroy it ;)
