UFO Station

I've read some topics that says that u can find somehow these "ufo secret station", and some said that these is just a Myth of X- trilogy and there is no such base. :pisa:
Does these station really exist? :?
So if there is such station can somebody post a screenshot.

It doesn't exist. It's a ruse played by those trying to wind newbies up. ;)

it sort of does and sort doesnt exsist :)

it has a model (its a paranid unknown object) spherical shape with no docking ports

but it exsist in the wonderful sector of NOWHERE

Head to the Centre of Presidents End. Fly Directly Upwards from the dead Centre of the System for 2000km and you will find a UFO Base which sells

Jumpdrive
Transport Device
Trade Software MK3
Cloaking Device(bugged in Version 1.01 > 1.2)
Kyon Emitter (all Varients)


the Station also sells a selection of Ships Randomly Picked Everytime you leave/enter the system

I have already spotted this UFO ship twice in the game, too bad I don't have a fast ship to follow them.

I'm planing to send out a fast ship to tag on those UFOs next time when I spot them again.

Its in the aldrin sector inside the large rock at the centre of the map, the entrance is directly on top pf said rock.

It's a good way of mapping unexplored places,if your universe is not mapped yet.

But according to other threads, they belong to the Goner and they won't like you much if you destroy one.So keep your fingers of the trigger if you follow personally.

Yes thats right and there is no real point in following them because all they are used for is to map the universe for the goners

I sent some fast ships to follow a UFO. But my following ships all got destroyed at some point. Ah well, they were only M5s.

Actually (if you are a true believer) the UFO base is revealed once you achieve the maximum rank for all races and have 2billion in all fabs you own + player account.

I achieved this once but my save game was mysteriously wiped by a man in a black suit that flashed a light in my eye...
