Automatic Missile / Ammunition Resupply

If you set these values on a ship in game, can you somehow read them with a script?

I could not find any script instruction for that.
I also checked all local variables (starting with letters or numbers) on a ship but spotted nothing unfamiliar.

off the top of my head "get ammo resupply quote <ware>" and another for missiles ... you need to specify the ware and get back the amount the player set

Hmm. I couldn't find anything remotely close so maybe I have to start a new game.

yes u can get these values and set them via a script.

check the lib.resupply scripts, which actually make use of them.

also, the docked signal is whats used to do the resupply, its actually all handled via scripts

Yes, all three are under the Fly Command. If you have a look at my FDN script I use all three to automatically supply ships in sector dependant on what each ship has set & if the ware is available.

It's about time one of us wrote a tutorial of new commands, i've learned quite a few but i'm in the zone at the moment so all my x time is devoted to coding (things are not breaking), if someone kicks a thread off i'll add to it.


These commands are something i've not even touched yet but i do get the feeling as i've seen em many times there are enough of these re-supply commands to code enhancements and tweaks worth separate scripts

i dont really have the time to write turotials, and its not really my strong point :P

but if anyone has questions about the new commands, i do know everything about them all
