I've searched EVERY terran base in the sol system, and not 1 had even a single unit for sale... i just bought the nice shiny gun and i want to test it out.

after putting a sector trader to the terran sectors (starting point: jupiter, jump: 3) i always have ammo to buy :P

I have a Mistral SF that just buys M/AM ammo and 3 sector traders (with a range of 3 sectors) working in terran space. ATM the Mistral has about 2k crates aboard and he's bound to buy some more.
So train at least 3 universal traders to at least lvl 12 and put them to work in terran space. One in Venus with a range of 2 and 2 in Jupiter with a range of 4. You should have no more problems with M/AM ammo (or terran weaponry in general)

Do that...pointing above....i had just one ST in saturn with a trade radius of 2 sectors. Forgot about him for a while, cause 500 M/AM is a LOT of shots. Came back later and the place was rocking...trade wise.
More the merrier.

Also could be that production plants have been lost. If that's the case, too bad.
