what a stroke of luck - i've been running 7 morts in aldrin for about a day and during a routine checkup on stations in there i've noticed that 2 unknown bases had a pair of eempcs each. they weren't there before and since i've been playing for about 8.5 days game time there's no chance they could've survived god.

i don't know if they were spawned or produced (the former is more likely as aldrin's space traders are inept and i've been doing trading manually there).
edit: they must be spawning: 2 have appeared in the third base which didn't have them and one more in the second base, which i had previously emptied, unless the cycle time for them is extremelly long and both stations started producing at the same time.
suddenly, EEMPCs! four of them!

I only found about 2 in my Aldrin, and I just couldn't be bothered sending in traders to start trickling the guns and wait another 5 ingame hours or more just to kit my new toy out, so I just cloned them.
That may make me a cheater but my philosophy on cheating is anything goes that doesn't directly affect anyone else (in the case of a multiplayer game) and uses the original unmodified game code.
