Any way to avoid listing my 30+ Satellites in the Sector Map?

Is there any way to disable the presence of "Advanced Satellite" entries in a sector map list?

I've just flung satellites across my (vast) home sector like confetti, so's I can spot baddies hundreds of kilometres away, up, down, whatever...

...but now my sector list is full of them. Duh.

Any documented/undocumented/scripted solution? Like, "Show Satellites in Sector Map = No"?

I take it you are talking X3TC.
Well if you are yes there is just open the options menu on your property screen and scroll down you'll see the command show sats Yes/No.

He means the Sector map "Spaceweed". For which I dont think there is an option to remove them.

press R for your owned stuff and go to options "Show sattelites" to No should do the trick ;P
