Changing Colors of Bolts / Beams

Hi all!

While editing the TBullets file i found something interesting.
The red values are --- i think --- color definitions
516;0;0;0;0;-1;9001;1500;400;909;5800;120000;0;192;192;0;1;1;5;0;23;25;1250;0;112;0;180;128;10000;25;1;0;SS_BULLET_CAPITAL_BETA;

I tried to modify these values with no luck at it
Has anyone tried someting similar?
There are some files in the "tex" directory from no. 380 to 387 with
bolt / beam images.
Does anyone know how they deal in combination with the color definitions in TBullets?
Are the bolts and beams 3D objects or just some kind of "sprite"?
