IBL Where?

I need some IBL to my Tiger but i can't find them. I have been in all Split sectors but i didn't find them.

IBL's are a Pirate weapon. They can only be found in two places.
A. LooManckStrat's Legacy (most likely will be destroyed by Boron/Paranid/Split military forces)
B. Weaver's Tempest

If you haven't explored LooManckStrat's Legacy yourself yet, I would advise you to send a remote trader there. If you enter this sector yourself, the moment you leave the military fleet there will wipe out all pirate bases. However, if you get another of your ships to go in you should find that you can keep supplying the IBL forge for quite some time, allowing you to buy several IBLs. The resident fleet will still wipe the sector clean at some point, but you buy yourself more time to stock up if you keep out of the sector yourself.

last zeus i capped had 24 IBLs intact

either cap them, or blow up the forge and cap the TL that comes to replace it

i did that, now i have a wing of flame spewing M3's, just need to watch them with friendly fire issues lol

IMO don't blow up factories as they might not be replaced, this is for all factories. I used to be advocate of destruction but after seeing the results I wouldn't do it any of my current games. Only blow up stations that respawn(pirate bases/trading stations/shipyards etc).

You're confusing IBL's with PBG's.

Okay, it will be capping.

Most for the Pirate hate me and Yaki don't let me dock there. Does Yaki M2s always have IBL? Those who fly in theirs sectors.

Every single race/pirate/yaki large ship has them except of course the Terrans/khaak even the xenon use the pirate weapons not as much as everyone else but still too much. Race TL's are the only large ships that I have seen without them, only some of the TL's though.

go to moo-kyes revenge, and hack the ibl factory in loomancstrats legacy

dotn bother with the yaki reputation, i think that really doesnt work

Here is another method. I've setup a complex that produces the resources needed for the IBL forges. I use Lucike's CLS script to sell the resources to the IBL forges. The only thing left is buy the IBLs whenever I need them. It seems that nobody else is interested in buying them. I am not sure if the IBLs are free this way, but it is probably very close.
