I was wonderin why egosoft didn't let bombers dock at carriers? I mean if you look at shows like Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica ect. Any bombers or similar ships can dock at a capital ship. In fact that's what i thought was what made 'em so effective. You load them up with a S*** load of missiles put them in a carrier and off you go but if they have to jump around themselves arn't they a bit vulnerable. Sure you can give them escorts but still it's safer to undock them and unleash hell.
P.S. if there is already a thread answering my question can u plz link me, i looked but couldn't find anything.
Why can't bombers dock at carriers?

because egosoft doesn't care what those other shows do and they do their own thing.
The bomber is a relatively new thing, and to get a big enough cargohold to hold enough missiles, it could no longer fit into the hanger bays of a carrier. That makes a bomber more akin to a corvette.
A b52 cannot land on an aircraft carrier.
