Ion disruptors

where is a good place to buy them? i'm currently flying around boron space and can't seem to find any fabs, just 2 of them at like equip docks and military bases.

Also where can i get fight command 3?

Use your enclyopedia. It will tell you everywhere you can buy them (in sectors you've visited, that is).

One thing to say of course which isn't spoilage since it is in the manual is that Ion weapons except the Shard Railgun are made by the Borons.

If you're not averse to a little larceny, check out passing Weapons Dealers and High Tech Traders. They often have one or more Ion D's that you can 'liberate' with the right 'lubricant' (streams of PAC's or HEPT's do wonders :fg: ).

Why would you want an Ion weapon anyway? If your going to use a weapon that will make frendlies hate you, then you may as well use the PSG instead!
What intriguing weapons and shields will you use to protect your trade ships and sectors from the Khaak when your not home? unless you can afford capital ships *and luck* its all for nothing, NOTHING! Mwaahhhhahaha
*(amendment for TC since all the good strategy and planning is no longer enough, you also need luck)*

Ion Disruptor has WAY shorter range than a PSG, and it has the crucial advantage of destroying installed equipment without causing much damage to the ship--it is therefore perfect for boarding operations.
