Game lockup: use autopilot to attack Ion/Squash mine

Hi--

I'm in Oraccroke's Storm, trying to take out a bunch of mines which I can't target. However, I tried selecting one in the sector view (.), and then clicking on it to select the menu item for autopilot to attack.

Game freezes at 100% CPU usage with repeating sound. Will try to reproduce this....

I had the same problem some time ago when the game was patched to 1.4.
The only way I could destroy the mines was by ramming them using the mission guidance arrows to point me in the right direction.

I had this back in 1.4, the best thing to do is target the one the sector map tells you to and then use the normal mission arrows to guide you to the rest. It took me a while to figure that out.

I think the issue with this is caused by egosoft allowing you to target something you should not really be able to target.. maybe ??
