Where do I go to buy/get some?

I need a few for a coming boarding action on an Ares.

I assume you are refering to Hammerhead Heavy Torpedos.

You can setup one of these in Ore-belt sector.
Of all the things i've lost, i miss my mind the most.

You can find them at Military bases accross the universe. They can only be launched from M7M's though. If you are looking for something to launch from an M3 or such, Thunderbolts aren't bad.

Hehe, nice complex, not quite there yet myself in my game so I need to buy or find them...

And Hammerhead can be launched from most M3+ (Medusa, Blastclaw for sure). That's what I have right now...

They're a random drop item only, not purchaseable. If you go scanning weapons traders you can ofen find some carrying one or two and they'll part with them if you err.. ask politely..

Yeah Hammerhead can be mount on on fighters. Hammer heavy torpedo only can be mount on M7M. I like hammerhead to take out a few fighters at once. It like a nuke weapon.
