below is a link to my xfire video of the unidentified ship that i saw while playing X3 Reunion (V2.5 unmodded) n i was just wondering.

1. wot is it.
2. is it a capturable ship.
3. is it a ship from an unknown species.
4. why have i only ever seen 1.

Well I suppose in some sense yes. You cant not fly as then you would be touching ground wouldn't you?

Its the same as a cup being half full or half empty lol.

Unidentified Floating Object? Those crates are UFO's, too.

Anyways, follow it to it's base and get the easter egg ware for your ship. But be careful! The ship you are flying gets it, so be wise as to what ship you put it on!

I'm not going to spoil what it is, but you definately want it. (It's good for any ship.)

The base (annoyingly) switches position after it has been spawned once, so reloading will mean you will need to follow the object to the new location! Though you'll be able to switch to a different ship to get the ware!

That's not the definition I get on google "define:fly" or "define:flight". All the definitions refer to air, IE: "an instance of traveling by air", "travel through the air". But in any case I suppose it doesn't really matter, there are also USO's, Unidentified Submersible Object.

heheh I also got fooled by one of those and I also created one post last week because of it. I think we all discover something especial when we see it for frist time.
But the true is, you will see it later again.
Last time I followed him with a quick M5 and when he jumped in one gate, when i jumed aswell on the other side, he was gone, so I think He come from nowhere to nowhere.

Surely space isn't a medium. Its not anything! And who's to say the UFO isn't sitting still and everyone else is 'flying' (or whatever) past it?

Of course it is! Vacuum is a 'medium', according to Merriam-Webster dictionary: "3 a: a condition or environment in which something may function or flourish"

'Flying' doesn't imply it has to have wings, you know. Ever hear the term 'spaceflight'?

The term 'motion of an object' refers to relative motion. You're just playing semantic games.

In that sense, every single thing in space is flying. The Galaxy, the solar system, Earth, our sun, etc. are all flying.

Only ever saw a few in Reunion; just wandering about, minding their own business.

TC is another matter. I'm sure that they are up to something in that game. Every time I run into them there are two, just parked nest to each other in the middle of the sector map. Then, as I get close, the suddenly split up and run for it.

I've seen some UFO's flying deep through Terran space in TC, I'm surprized ATF doesn't destroy them on sight for being 'paranoid'.
