What I'd like to do is tow some of the heavy weapons platforms away from their placements and park them closer to my stations. Since I can't build them why not steal someone elses?

Can you tractor an NPC station to another part of the sector?

How about this then. If you're at war with one race (ie - they actively fire on you). Can you get that race to inadvertently go to war with another race by getting them to fire on each other? It's dead simple to hide yourself in the structure of a (peaceful) space station. If another race were to try firing through it to get to you - would they end up fighting each other?
Not that I'm looking to instigate a war where I can make a profit from others misfortunes. No. That would be wrong.
