I did a word search and found pages and pages. None really said where to find it. I've search many asteroid fields and haven't found any.

You dont mine it, you get it from teladianium foundries which make it from energy cells.

Unsurprisigly, you will find teladianium foundries in teladi sectors.

If ever you can't find a ware, check your ingame encyclopedia.

It lists all known wares and also places to buy them in your universe.

If it helps, the only Minable minerals are:

Debris (and rejected by the Collector)
Nividium (Mobile Mining ONLY)
Ice (Terran)
Silicon
Ore

Everything else is created in some sort of station.

Teladianium mud really does resemble the peat found in swamps and bogs, which is formed from dead organisms so it's possible, but don't let that pesky Terran propaganda get to you. Teladi products are always produced from the finest quality ingredients from special breed of Markus Spaceflies to bring the best products to the customers for as cheap as possible. Well you are very right in this one. Think of the profitsss! On the other hand, it mostly just applies on the female of the Teladi species. Like they say, men are from Ianamus Zura and women are from, well, elsewhere.
