Tractor Beam Issue's

Ok the long of the short is I've screwed up and the complex construction kit has placed the docking clamps backwards intowards the structures making docking hard for most ships. Am trying to use the tractor beam to shift the docking clamps around but aren't getting a lock. Any suggestions???

You'll need to destroy the CCK, possibly move the stations slightly, and try again.

You can't use the TB on complexed stations, only single stations/ships.

Or simply stay OOS as there's no collision detection then :)

But, deadbeat-spinn's suggestion is a more complete fix. Shouldn't need to tractor anything, just be more careful about where you place the hub.

And, you'll have to replace all the CCKs in the complex. Self destruct it and it leaves you just with the separate stations.

Or, build two more factories, link them together with a CCK, then, with another CCK, merge those two complexes together. In making so, make sure to select the complex that you want to keep the Hub position first, since the second hub clicked will disappear afterward.
