X3TC System Override Software?
hi all
X3 Reunion had a really useful little gadget that you could get from the pirates that allowed you to cap ships without needing to take a space walk the system override software and the signature scrambler to hide it from police scans
is there such an upgrade in X3TC because I really hate taking space walks to capture ships its so bloody slow and cumbersome and hanging around in dangerous sectors in ya space suit isn't something you really want to be doing
so my question is if there is such an upgrade where do I get it from and how to I get it because I don't see it listed under the wares for sale in pirate bases which is where id expect to find it

It'll be on the map somewhere.
I'll give you a clue. it's a black sector with out a name.

Get a fighter to bail, then very carefully pilot your ship to a very close range of the empty ship. Then just select "claim" from hotkey or menu as you normally would on a spacewalk.
I find system override software fairly hard to use since the range is minimal just like spacewalking. But if you are a precise pilot of a maneuverable ship then I can see how it might be more useful.

Range is dependent on ship you're in.
Its like 1KM or so in a capital.

Just saying it forward: I give everyone 2 posts to make good, in context posts(proper english, as always, is optional). After that I'm ignoring what you have to say in that thread that's directed to what we previously were talking about.
