matter/antimatter mine
Anyone know whether it's possible to buy a factory to build these? If so, where would I get it?
Cheers.
Cheers.

In vanilla, the only place that you theoretically get the A/AM Mine Fabs is the Terran Shipyard you get after the second Aldrin Plot. Guess what, that does not sell those fabs. According to my in-game Encyclopedia, there are Terran fabs in Neptune and Titan and you can trade the mines at many Terran military stations.
I suspect that like Tracker and Ion Mines, they would be used, behave and perform exactly like normal Squash Mines in all respects so it's all a bit pointless really.

That Terran shipyard that allows you to buy stations leaves a lot to be desired.
There are a few stations that we should have
Matter/Antimatter mine fabs, matter/antimatter warhead fabs, Ice mines, several missile fabs, that were not included in the list of stations.

I agree that it sucks not having those stations...CaptG wrote:That Terran shipyard that allows you to buy stations leaves a lot to be desired.

But, to be fair, the Terrans are more than a little bit xenophobic. You could make the argument that they just refuse to allow anybody to build them without some kind of state sanction.

@ CaptG: I think most of those missing Terran fabs (except maybe the Ice Harvesting Facility) use station models that have no nodes. Even if you could buy them in vanilla, you could not complex them and would have to have them as stand-alones. (If you were to script them in, you may as well mod them for nodes as well.)

I think I could live with that as long as I could build the station.
M/am warheads in my game are getting harder to come by, esp. in large quantities since my Osaka eats them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
I finally had to break down and clone PSPs, instead of buying them, to finish loading him out because I can no longer buy M/am warheads in the quantities needed to keep it loaded.
