Where can I get a tractor beam?

I am doing the aldrin expansion plot, and need a tractor beam.
I have looked all over and an't find one.
The paranid sell the factory, but not the tractor beam.
Any help please?

if theres no factories in third redemption, then GoD has destroyed your only NPC way of getting them :P you either gotta wait for the respawn ( a few game days) or buy the factory and make em yourself.

If you are lucky, sometimes there are missions to build Tractor beam stations. You still have to shell out for the station (a whopping 14Million!), but at least they pay you back. Tractor factories take nearly 4 hours to produce a single beam. Have a ship camping the station, set to buy the ware as soon as its up.
