Aran and satellite trick ??

I haven't been following the Aran threads until lately. I saw a reference to the 'satellite trick'. I searched and didn't find the original reference. Could some kind soul enlighten me?

Drop an adv satellite and use the camera feature (press k, while on sector map) to look for it.

The camera on adv satellites has no maximum range.

Im currently preparing an expedition (and doing goner missions) with that as an objective.

If you find it please post your experience. im a bit confused about the no-pilot thing.
