[TC] xenon invasion - in bite size chunks

in one of the XTC plots theres a xenon invasion. i've got an elite and they have a Q and PSZ about 8 Ls and about 20 MS and Ns

obviously I can't kill them all

there also very tightly packed

how do I break up the formation and whittle them down.

your best bet is too use long range missles at a few to get there attention, then run and they should spread out. but dont think it will work much with just an elite, but worth a shot, save first.

the mission giver argon fighter is invulnerable - make use of it
also picking on faster ships first makes things easier
kill all N, then M, ...and so on
the military outpost helps you too (it should have some powerful weapons mounted)
remember that you have to kill at least one xenon else the mission fails

I think you mean the first start of Final Fury.

Bring an M6 or heavier, as I was more advanced along my fighting rank, and got 2 Ks and a J for the same deal. An Elite sure tain't going to cut all that.

Course I could be wrong, haven't done all of OFF just yet. (The escort missions are just 'fun'.)

i wish they only give me a q. i had 2 ks. and i flew a spitfyre. no help. my advice get a better ship than tbe elite for these missions you need at least a m3 or above....

The number and type of enemy ships in that mission is tied to your fight rank and ships.

iirc, if you run it at Harmless in an M4 you'll just get a few fighters and a corvette (which the local forces can easily kill - particularly since some of them are invincible).
