Bala Gi First mission

I just started the Bala Gi missions, and embaressingly can't do the first one, i have scanned the 4 asteroids i can see in the sector Rolk's fate, but they all have ore yields of 2-10 but no nividiun traces, am i scanning wrong/badly (flying within 10 km of the roid and selecting target option) or is there a problem elsewhere :?


Not sure it's a technical problem, but it is deffinatly a problem :lol:

Any help would be great, sorry if this is in the wrong place too :)

You'll need a Mineral Scanner.
Maverick: Requesting permission for flyby.
Air Boss Johnson: That's a negative ghostrider, the pattern is full.
Goose: No. No, Mav, this is not a good idea.
Maverick: Sorry Goose, but it's time to buzz a Split.
Split: Split now give you .... Aaaarrriiiigh.

I forget which is the correct sector but.... I once made the stupid mistake of going to the wrong rolks sector for this mission... ie rolks drift instead of rolks fate... took me ages to realise my own stupidity! :oops:

just wanted to check you're not doing the same.

haha, unfortunatly i already made that mistake, wish it was the problem tho, that way i could do these missions

He's playing Reunion, not TC.

ben1992, did you look in the

northwest quadrant
of the sector? They aren't near the normal ore asteroids, which you scanned.

cheers, i did look over there, but i have the basic scanner, must of been to high/low

thank you found other asteroids

You'll be a lot less frustrated if you dock in the local Boron equipment dock and get yourself a Triplex Scanner. :wink:

i was only looking at the roids in the north east quadrant
