Can someone tell me how many rounds there are in 1 unit of Gauss Cannon Ammunition :?

200, as with all ammunitions. Yes even the M/AM warhead.

If a unit of ammunition is loaded onto a ship, it is usually deducted right away, so when one checks the inventory or freight bay, one more can then be added as an additional top up unit onto the ship.
