LAA Patch

Hi All,

I have the dvd version of TC and am patched up to 2.6.

Could someone tell me how I set up the game to be LAA?

Ez
IBM AT 16MHz 386SX
DOS 3.3 (With EMM 386!!)
1 Mbyte RAM
256 Colour VGA graphics card (512 Kbytes RAM)
20 MByte Hard Drive
Creative SoundBlaster 1.0
14 inch, 640x480 Monitor

  1. Just in case, backup x3tc.exe by copying it somewhere else. By default it's installed in C:\Program Files\Egosoft\X3 Terran Conflict.
  2. Grab a PE editor like CFF Explorer.
  3. Run it, open your original x3tc.exe.
  4. Browse to Nt Headers/File Header/Characteristics and check 'App can handle >2Gb address space'.
  5. Save, exit.
If you're running a 32-bit OS you may also need to change a boot flag.

does this work for the steam version too, as i have tried doing this and it comes up with failed to start (error code 51). Thanks for any help.
