LAA Patch

Hi All,

I have the dvd version of TC and am patched up to 2.6.

Could someone tell me how I set up the game to be LAA?

Just in case, backup x3tc.exe by copying it somewhere else. By default it's installed in C:\Program Files\Egosoft\X3 Terran Conflict.
Grab a PE editor like CFF Explorer.
Run it, open your original x3tc.exe.
Browse to Nt Headers/File Header/Characteristics and check 'App can handle >2Gb address space'.
Save, exit.

If you're running a 32-bit OS you may also need to change a boot flag.

does this work for the steam version too, as i have tried doing this and it comes up with failed to start (error code 51). Thanks for any help.
