Fragmentation Bomb Launchers

Post by Hellfire29 » Tue, 1. Jun 10, 08:49

From what I understand about the OOS damage calculations, these should be extremely effective. This true? And yes, I do realise that IS they are useless.
And to save from making another thread, is it better to put PACs or PRGs on my Solanos?

I've not had great results with Solano's using either PACs or PRGs OOS. MDs seem to be pretty effective OOS though.

I use solano's to chase down other M4's and M5's after the main battle has finished to minimize loses. They have a mixture PAC's and PRG's between them. I use about 10 per wing so they are really quite effective! They also work well for quick taxi missions!

use mass drivers in solanos. the PAC and PRG just utterly fail when compared to MDs.

If you want an OOS M4+ go for the Split Asp. 6xHEPT and Thunderbolt missiles are alot of bite in OOS combat.

Asp's armed with PBEs are pretty effect also, use them to chase down fast enemies.

OOS FBL is the best fighter weapon, PRG and MD some of the worst.
Read OOS topics or test it yourself.
Right on commander !
