Just want to know where I can find one please to buy. I have not completed any misson yet. Want to get my complex hub going first so I can have lots and lots of microchips and other bits ready for the hub mission

Yes they have they are not there in my game. Can you get them from the goners?

You could have a look in the ingame encyclopedia. That'll list all factories and docks which sell them. Doesn't tell you which ones are in stock though. Not totally sure if the Tractor Beam is sold anywhere else though.

Nope. Unless you're very lucky you might find an EQ with one in stock. Otherwise you're going to have to build your own TB fac or build one for the NPC's via "Build" missions.

Im sure I brought mine from the goners when I built their temple!!!! LAst time it was some time ago and now I have started a new game im starting all over again.

The temple didn't have any wares in it untill 2.6 IIRC

It does but it does'nt if you know what I mean. I remember buying one from a station, not in paranid but either from the gonars or terran space. Ages ago in my other game. So where else can I buy a tractor beam?

Despite what you think you remember, AFAIK, the Paranid are the only ones who ever dealt in Tractor Beams in TC.

If you are playing TC then Deadbeat_Spinn has already told you where they are sold. If there is no factory there then you will have to buy the fact from the shipyard in the same sector. It costs roughly 15mill. I've had to do that in a couple of my games.
