RE'ing the Poisoned Paranid Rewards
Hey all,
I just completed the PP mission, and received a hopped up Hyperion. My question is this, when (and if!) I make it to the point that I have a PHQ like I did in my Argon start, when I reverse engineer this baby does it keep it's boosted speed or will the blueprints only build standard issue Hyperions?

It puts up a really good fight. So many turrets. No wonder it's often used.

My method:
Lower the shields.
Use IonD to strip everything.
Swap to another ship if I get low on shields.
After it has no more weapons and scary equipment repair the hull a bit (depending on your marines).
Board!

If you have the ability to reverse engineer ships, you have most certainly got the ability to buy a m7m and just fire a boarding pod. Frying off the equipment isn't that helpful unless you just want to ensure you have absolutely no casualties.
Duke's Buccaneers... I hate you so much... I am sooo demolishing your HQ when our business is finished....
