so as its noted i fly in an m6 with 18 other m6's following..3 fighters aswell but they are just anti fighter fod..anywho i tried making one of those m6's the "leader" and make the rest attack his target or target near him...then i have him follow me untill i get in a fire fight...semi works but not could be better...currently have them in a wing and its eh...(did a xenon patrol told the wing to attack all..they where going for a q but as they were getting near they pulled back into "formation" ended up killing the q with the m6 im in and the 3 fighters)...so yea anyhelp?

also i fly with the mistrals...how do i properly make them refuel the m6's? im having to do it manually to each ship

supply command how to

only use wings when you want to set turrets for a large group of ships, or to set refuel / ammo restock settings.

as to your situation:

set the "leader" as a wingmen, then tell all the other corvettes to "attack closest target of", and select the leader. :P now when you tell the leader to attack something, itll get escorted.

Wow...you can refuel in the X series?lol..I've played since XBTF and never ran out of fuel..hehehe .

my apologizes for keeping this thread up here but got some more q's not relating to my own title and didnt want to star a thread for it since its probably something not major(thanks Catra for the answers)

anywho first one
How can you set your freighters for your factories to use a jumpdrive to get from home base to point b and back? ive only seen them use it to return to the home factory but not use it to go to the factory where they are going to sell the goods..(if that makes sense) i'd tried CaG But no clue how to use it..i tried once and i get a message saying he cant sell because the goods are locked.

2nd q: i LOVE killing pirates...so natrually i have them set to foe and they are red etc etc..anywho i jump in to a sector today see a Pirate base, its red BUT some how i can dock..why?

Nope, doesn't make sense. If it's using a jumpdrive through the autojump command to return, it should also be using it on the outgoing trip. Do you have energy cells available at the homebase?

Most likely, the friend/foe setting for your ship is set as foe for pirates. That causes them all to appear red, even though some may be blue. This includes pirate bases.

because you setting them to foe doesnt make them set you to foe, all pirate bases are always neutral to you unless you attack it.

make sure your resupply setting is the factories jumprange *2 (for non CAG's atleast, iunno how they work.)
