Has anybody heard anything about the new 3.0 plot, and if it will continue the expansion of the Aldrin Sectors?

Yeah L3+ belongs to specified forum with proper level, so they can't say, though some try to give hints.

Although L3 users do not sign an NDA, they are expected to keep all that is L3 off of the non L3 forums.

Actually... that sounds kinda cool...

But seriously, is it beta-testing? Because I'm no good at beta testing, and don't want to waste their time by applying for something I wouldn't be of use in.

You don't have to do Beta Testing although it would help the community, if you have any questions about that you can PM me and I can help you out with that.

Other than Beta testing there is an Idea forum, and a General forum. There is also a Script Testing forum for people who are interested in adding signed content to the vanilla game, they can't do it without help though so if you are interested in providing your time and help to the community, then that is where you do it.

Again, any questions you can PM to me or an admin/mod and either of us would be happy to help you out. As would any L3+ member.

Actually ,beta testing is a lot of fun,if exasperating sometimes when you find a bug in the forth-coming updates.
But the good thing about it is that by the time it has become a public update,you know how to do it all properly in your main game.
Sometimes there is really exciting stuff that players keep asking for,and it's hard not to mention it on the main forums,when they do ask.
Hence the occasional hints by some.
There are some really good discussions sometimes in the ideas/general threads.
You can be a L3 and do nothing but read the forums,if you wish.Just try not to tell anyone what you see there.
