Great work, guys! I love your Venator and the other ships!
Are you going to make some more ships? If so, how about making this one?

I'd love to see that ship in X3TC. Unfortunately, i don't know the english name of it, and by translating the german word Geleitschiff (which means something like convoy ship), i couldn't find it. There's a pic of the ship on the page. It's from the Gamcube Game Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike.

It appears in 1:05. Also, the TIE-Hunter (appears in the video, too) would be a great addition to any SW mod

that's the imperial attack carrier, it is in the Alliance mod for EAW:FOC and modeled really close to that pic from what i can tell. I will keep this ship in mind for our full conversion sw mod.

yes there will be, there is still a lot to be done, and there will be several compatible versions for some major mods and also a .XSP version..
but erm, enjoy this pack for now, final release could take a while..

well its a release canadate (RC) so its almost the finished version, there are just some final things that we want to do before the official final release.
@efsear: I dont recall adding an spk file to the rc1 rar so if you have an spk version its an older version of the ship.
@Anu: well your work is truly awesome, and an artists work should be complimented
well i'll have to look into why the spk version is causing such problems and see how to make xsp versions instead.

so.. there must be a whole bunch of downloads by now.. but i dont see many comments..
what i need is for you people to comment on the pack, what do you think of it, what could be changed/improved to make it more playable or more canon.. do you have ideas that would make this pack truly awesome..? all feedback is more then welcome..

i have to figure out how to make bullets first.. i havent been able to make my custom textures work yet so thats why we are using vanilla bullets for now.. THE SOUNDS ARE THERE THO..

The ARC-170 was actually a heavy multi-role fighter and was better suited for mission were dogfights weren't likely since they could be out maneuvered by vultures and tri-fighter droids. V-wings or V19 torrents are better suited, IMO, as cap fighters.
however the idea to add the venator wasnt joined by making custom strike craft for it since there is already a plethora of fighters in game that would suffice.
