for some reason no mater how much flying and exploring i do the mission "investigate Unknown sector 3" doesn't advance to the next stage.
are there required plots to be completed before hand? to solve this plot your supposed to use the hub to link Terran space... but i am still on the crystal stage of the hub.
its simple, i need help with this plot, and i am rubbish at using the extra search feature because i have not found an Aldrin expansion walk through.

Yeah, that part was a bit confusing - think the briefing was badly worded (I thought I needed a fully functional Hub with three gate pairs to do the plot). Turns out as long as you have one operational gate on the Hub, you can finish that part of the mission. Just select the gate that sits between Terran Unknown Sector 1 and 2 (the north gate of TUS 1) and the mission will be marked complete.

i have done none of those things... i have escorted a ship but i didnt think it was boron.. and i haven't towed anything...
i read the walk through, and i remember flying to a destroyed SPP but nothing happened in my approach. this is an issue and im gona try it again.

ok, so when i enter the sector the SPP is gone!!.. i fly around looking for it for about 20 min, i check my sector map and i notice there is a boron angle just idling where the SPP was on my sector map last time i looked.
horray, nice and EZ escort mission later and im back in biz

It's possible that there may be a condition that you must have been in the sector for X amount of time before the Angel appears. I went and scanned the asteroids first. The Angel appeared when I moved in close to the SPP; I assumed that that was the trigger, but there may be more than one.

I went straight to the SPP and didnt get any result so I went and scanned all the asteroids. Still nothing. So I went back to the SPP and the plot advanced.
