Goner plot
The walk threw said not to hit the ship with guns but my marines won't go with the shields up and if I shoot it, it fails. Me want know how?

Oddly this is exactly the point I'm at in my current savegame. I've saved just as the Syndicate ship is headed south.
Well personally I've no idea what comes next. I'm generally not a plot-doing person. I'm a wanderer. Haven't use a walkthrough yet, but like esd I tend to wander. And I did the Goner plot in my current game 4 times. Partially to see just how many Syndicate ships I could get to borrow and the final time so I could acquire that indestructable Syndicate Blastclaw that you have to follow.
So in the end I ended up "borrowing" twelve M6's and seven fighters (Blastclaw included).
