Tormented Teladi start?

What do I have to do to get that start?
I searched but I didn't find anything on how to unlock it.

It says :

Tormented Teladi

Sector: Sactity of Corruption, Tears of Greed or Aquisition Repository
Ship: Harrier Hauler (M5)
Weapons: 2x Impulse Ray Emitter
Credits: 1,960 Cr
Prerequisites: Trade rank "Petty Financier"
Storyline: ENABLED

I did get to the Petty Financer trade rank but still it doesn't show up in the game starts.

Is it because i had MK3 pilots do the trade ranking for me or is it another problem?

Probably a stupid suggestion. But KISS just kicked in:

Have you scrolled down through the lists of starts. Once you get enough they don;t all displa at once.

Also my own start question.

If you take the Lost Lar start do you pass through the hub sector on your way out, or do the gates only pop in-between once you start the plot?

What's your precise trade rank? It's actually a little ways into Petty Financier.

It's sometimes a bit glitchy anyway, though.

That might not be enough.

The requirement is 3333, and Petty Financier is 3000-6000 - but the percentages in the pilot screen aren't linear.

I used ianrobo75's X3TC Stats and Resources Compendium V3.0 and found out that Petty Financer 11% translates to 3.330.
Now it's about 50%+ and I have unlocked both the Tormented Teladi and Boring Boron starts.

I really enjoy the Tormented Teladi start. Have fun with it.

I just turned in a few abandoned ships for the fee to get your Advanced Kea back, but you could probably do it with just pure trade if you wanted to.

Save before paying the fee to finish the plot and keep reloading until you get an Advanced Kea you like. You can get one above 200 m/s, and it makes a really great personal ship.
