No Unfocussed jump drive

I have the Superbox version of TC, having previously run TC on its own. I get to the point where I get a message from Craig Armston of the Terran Resource Evaluation Commission asking you to dock at the Orbital Patrol Base in Asteroid Belt after getting far enough through the Hub plot. I receive the Baldrick miner, but ther is no unfocussed jumpdrive option in the menue. I have run the game twice now and arrived at the same point. Please help.
