X-terran conflict extended and invasions

I saw some topics about "invasions" on forum. I used some mode about 2 years ago - but it was long ago - and i dont remember. Which mod should we install to get "best" invasions option

is this only mod?? (improved races)

What do you think about that? I remember that i played in some invasion (most popular in that time) mod about 2 years ago but i dropped it because something was wrong with these invasions - fleets appeared in other sectors without any sense, these fleets looked very strange very often - for example 1 time i spotted 3 Telad M1 or M2 without any escort and with something wrong, because only 2-3 of their turrets were firing - they were scattered by some Argon small ships with my assistance

What are your experiences with invasions now? Are they working good?

And last question: is it possible to implement this mod - or by any other way similiar mod to "x conclict extended mod" - i just installed this mod. it looks great. But even if we have 200 sectors there - nothing really happens. Becasue all races will remain in their sectors as I understood - so all fights, skirmishers and our great service dont change anything....

is it or will it be possible in future? it will be great....

Mars Fire Control works with XTC if using the correct Mars t file (which can be found under a thread at XTC own website). Missile defence MK2 (integrated in Mars Fire Control) could maybe conflict .. read more about that in that thread.

All others are not compatable or not completely compatable with XTC right now and should be tried at own risk.. with backup of savegames.

Edit 1 : i'm trying out Yaki Armada 2 (script) and that seems to work more or less with XTC .. you might wanna try that out (with backup savegame)
