Argon Collosus Boarded by Yaki?

I had just jumped into Black Hole Sun, when i get a new message..
I pop open the message board, and find a letter from the argon military stating that a Military Argon Collosus had been attacked, boarded, and captured by Yaki, and to notify the Argon Military if any information regarding the incident surfaces.
I have to ask, is this the beginning of another plotline?
Never been summoned by message for something so seemingly trivial..

Yes, it's the start of the Treasure Hunt plot, a plot that requires mainly alot of thinking, and sometimes a hint.

Oh, I thought it was the start of a plot that was in Beta but removed in the final release or something.

If it had been removed, then you wouldn't get the start of it either...

In any case, there was never any "Yaki plotline". There was a Yaki game start which was removed before the game was released, though.

Fair point. I think I vaguely remember some companies removing stuff from the final release but still having a reference to it or something, but upon reflection I'm sure Egosoft would have made sure to remove all references to it.

And yeah the Yaki start was the one I was thinking of. My bad.
