Repair Laser and Tractor Beam

Does anyone knows where can I buy a repair laser and a tractor beam? I have a dedicate Mistral as my supply and repair ship but need to find the repair laser.

You can't buy repair laser, at least not in vanilla TC. You have one on your spacesuit :).
There should be one tractor beam forge in Third Redemption, but check your in-game Encyclopedia. These factories tend to dissapear from the game.

If they are both gone,Then you will have to buy a TB station from the shipyard there and produce your own.

Not sure if you can get them as a specialist item in a certain Millitary outpost though.
Someone will either confirm or deny this.(I feel ost without my "completed" game.:lol:

Nope. The reason these factories get removed by 'GoD' is that there's no place that stocks them other than those two factories. I once modded a previous game to include them as wares in the two pirate Anarchy posts, and those factories never disappeared. Don't know why Egosoft never did something similar. :roll:

I'm using the Naval Shuffle galaxy, and makes repair lasers useable by small craft ^_^

Another option, if your galaxy's TB factories are gone, is to take build station missions around Paranid space. (It might just be me but I think you get more race stations when you are in their territory.) There is a chance that a tractor beam factory will be the target. (Happens to me a lot, so my galaxy have quite a few.) This saves you from having to build one yourself and gets you enough profit to buy the first one off the line to boot.

I dunno, I seem to recall there was someone on this forum that posted pics of a looted Repair Laser and his unmodified tag... so somehow, he was able to acquire one in vanilla outside the normal suit repair laser.

God I wish I could find that thread...
