[Spoiler] Goner Plot - Plot broken?

I completed the mission in the Goner plot to

build the teladianium foundry

and was mid mission in the OFF plot when

I get a message to go to wastelands to defend a goner ship

however I ignored it and continued with the OFF mission and part way through received a mission aborted message for the Goner mission.

Is the goner plot now broken or will it continue? I have a recent save just before starting the OFF mission so won't lose too much if I need to reload.

After you build the T-Dium fab, there is a string of "missions" to protect the Goners.

They will abort & continue & abort & continue until you intervene.

My suggestion, either finish up the FF mission your on and switch back to the Goners, or reload and finish the Goner plot after the T-Dium fab part without interruption.
