what diference is if i set a wingmen or not?is a wingman different from a wing of fighters..
someone enlight me pls

Setting ships to wingman status just lets you use their command hotkeys. By default Shift+1 is "Attack my target," and Shift+2 is "Protect me." They can be useful at times.

Also, it lets you use the "Broadcast to all ships in sector>Wingmen" option in the command console.

For 'wingmen attack my target' is that every single wingman? I don't quite understand

Let's say you have 4 Novas as your wingmen.

If you see a Pirate Osprey, you can target it and hit shift+6. This will make all 4 Novas attack the Pirate Osprey.

and if i put all 4 novs's in a wing,can they still pe put as wingmen,and give them commands with hotkey?
