Recon Drones ?

I found a factory in Queens Harbour, what sells Recon Drones. What is their purpose ? How can they be used ?

It seems they have no purpose except to trade them. If you buy and eject them into space it's just a crate floating around.

Yes I can confirm they are a useless sale item and they do not sell very well, I have complex with a factory in it producing them, they hardly move!

You could also check ot the link in my sig for DDTC as the drone scripts are all in there and working.
