X Beyond The Frontier - Bild wird trotz "richtiger" Auflösung nicht ganz angezeigt

Hallo Xler,

ich habe mir gestern die Superbox besorgt und gleich mal X BtF installiert. Das Spiel ist echt genial, nur klappt das mit den Auflösungen scheinbar nicht. Ich habe in den Optionen folgende Optionen angewählt:

Einstellungen in den Optionen:

Und so sieht das Ingame aus:

Dort ist das Bild oben und unten abgeschnitten. So sieht man nicht die aktuellen Credits.

Woran liegt das? Kann man das Bild richtig skallieren?

Bei der Auflösung 800x600 wird alles richtig angezeigt...jedoch sieht dann das Weltall irgwie Unscharf aus. Werde mal noch weiter testen. Vll hat ja noch jemand von euch eine Idee. ^^

Hoffe man erkennt es. Haupaugenmerk ist auf der entfernten Station, die bei der höheren Auflösung um einiges detailierter aussieht.

Mit der Auflösung 1600x1200 Scheint es zu funktionieren.

1920x1200 klingt irgendwie merkwürdig .. Versuchs mal mit 1920x1080.

Klingt garnicht merkwürdig.
1920x1200 ist die Standardauflösung für Monitore im 16:10 Format.

1920x1080 (Full HD Auflösung) ist nur für Monitore im 16:9 Format.


Der Witz dabei ist das die etwas älteren 24" Monitore dank 16:10 mehr Fläche haben als die neueren 24" 16:9 Monitore.

ich bin selber meinung: lieber schwarze Balken als ein gestrecktes Bild..

Und unscharf wird das Bild weil du deinen TFT unter der nativen Auflösung (der Maximalen) laufen lässt. So is das nunmal bei TFTs.

Hatte das selbe Problem mit ner 16:9 Auflösung: bei 1366x768 (jetzt bitte nicht wieder Kommentare wie: das is ja gar nicht 16:9 sondern nur 16,0078:9, das hatten wir schon) wird ebenfalls oben und unten der Rand etwas abgeschnitten. Hab dann auf 1024x768 umgestellt und alles ist vollständig angezeigt worden, wenn auch mit Balken am Rand.

hi,

ist Anfang's bei mir auch so gewesen... auf Stationen konnte ich meine Frachtraum-größe und mein Bargeld nicht sehn, und außerdem war das Bild schmal und unscharf (speziell bei Aufruf der Hilfetasten).
Ich hab herumprobiert, und bin bei 1600x1024 dann geblieben. Passt super... dafür NERFT etwas anderes - die Einstellungen muss ich jedes mal wieder vornehmen obwohl der Haken bei "wie letztes Mal" drinnen ist.

Gibt noch ein paar andere kleine Bugs, wie zum Beispiel, daß Xenon M2 einfach durch eine Station hindurchfliegen anstatt dort zu zerschellen oder zumindest schweren Schildschaden zu erleiden...
Habe bevor die Missionen angehen, schon mal die Xenonsektoren gesäubert (ist dann am Ende leichter) und das oben gesagte bemerkt.

Diesen Trick hab ich füher angewendet (alte Win Version) - M2 anschießen, und dann an die Station locken - hat prima funktioniert
