[TC] Where to find Tractor Beam?

On the wiki, there's a listing for a Tractor Beam. I can't find this item in the game, however. If it exists, where can I find it?

Third Redemption, Tractor Beam Factory. They sometimes get blown up/removed from the game, though, in which case the only way to get one is buy buying a tractor beam fab from the shipyard there and making your own.

If you're not friendly with paranids, you can always keep an eye out for hackers offering access in the nearby pirate and boron sectors.

Try Third Redemption.
GoD has a tendency to delete them but I believe in a recent patch they are rebuilt some time afterwards.
Where's the kaboom? There was supposed to be an earth-shattering kaboom!

Went to Third Redemption, and found no Tractor Beam Factory. Also searched the in-game encyclopedia, and found no entry for Tractor Beams or their factories.

Does the encyclopedia populate only with things that you've already seen in the universe?

Yes. Though you dont have to look at it specifically -- if you pass near a enough a station for it to show up on your map, then that factories products will be entered into the encyclopedia.

You might throw a sat up there so you can check periodically to see if it gets rebuilt, but you may need to buy your own fab if you want it any time soon.

Nuts. Was going to do some housekeeping around one of my stations. Keep those silly asteroids out of my way when I blow through the system.

Luckily there's an advanced satellite factory in Third Redemption.

You can't move asteroids using a tractor beam anyway--you'd have to build a mine on it first.
