Terran Plot and Earth Torus (Spoilers)

Hey guys, am on the (I assume) final mission of the terran plot, where you have to deliver Aldrin dignataries to the Earth Torus... so I set my autopilot to dock at earth Torus, I got a warning message about being too far from the shipping lanes and got blown up??

A little confused to say the least!

Don't use the autopilot and fly manualy straight out of the gate. Also, never allow your other ships to dock/undock in Earth sector while you're there.

When you enter the sector you will see navigation bouys either side of Torus, if you pass these they will give you a warning then kill you. You need to fly straight towards Torus without deviating from your course.

Ahh thanks, just spent the age that it takes to cross back to Earth from the asteroid belt and docked manually, no problem... seems the autopilot is a little dumb and thinks it needs a giant run up, lol

I think most of us get killed on first attempt,unless we have read in advance.

I still forget sometimes, on the rare occasions I go back.
