I looked through the most recent forums and hadn't seen this asked, so I apologize if I missed something.

Does anyone else think it's odd no more news has been released on this when the game is suppose to launch in Q4 of 2011 and it's already halfway through Q3?

not really.

Steam has added something to TC that may or may not be part of the lore that bridges the two games,so many of us are making good use of that for now.

It was also hinted that other additions may come our way,up to the release of R.

You appear to have missed several pages of discussion of that exact subject in the announcement thread at the top of the forum. I don't think we need a new thread for it as well. ;)
