this is a scrubbed up pic of an old X2 beta test screenie given the rusti s treatment (lens flare engines, blurred background and so on for effect.)

In the old XT game the M0 has something stupid like 8-10 125mw shields and over twenty GHEPT lasers. however it could only do about 50mps.

This beta test showed that the devs were planning to put it in the game.

I got a beautiful pic from Xt of a siluetted M0 with two carriers escorting,it looked just like the SSD from Empire SB with the 'tiny' star destroyers flanking it.

If i ever find it ill post it.

Now that would make a cool Home Base......built in weaponry for defence....maybe it can be scripted into the game....bought for some rediculously high price.

Ahh... found memories of attacking it in XBTF.....and hordes of Xenon fighter craft.

hoards of xenon ships? i remember the mission well, i went in, got attacked by no more than 10 xenon fighters, attacked the turrets on the m0 without it even shooting me, and then hopping back through the gate
